Manage and operate Gas Chromatograph (GC) for PCB testing, continue to develop Standard Operating Procedures for this equipment, receive, log, analyze and manage laboratory equipment and supplies related to PCB testing, perform plant production and other assigned tasks as needed. Perform all QC measures ensuring proper accuracy and precision with the GC. Manage all wastes in connection with operating the Shimadzu GC coordinating with AOC Compliance for recordkeeping, retention and proper disposal outlets.
Minimum Associates Degree from two year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or two or more years of experience with AOC; proficient computer skills; skilled/trainable on new and exingt company specific computer programs. Familiar with and proficient in dealing with EPA-approved sampling and analysis methods applying to used oil, wastewater, and solid wastes. Applicant must be proficient and knowledgeable in operating Gas Chromatographs.
This is an entry level temp to perm position. Pay rate is $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience.
